OCEAN OIL SERVICES (a wholly owned subsidiary of ”HILONG HOLDING LIMITED”) requested Almaeer to perform an acceptance audit of the mast raising equipment on their rig HL30, located in Sharjah field, UAE.
As an ICP (Independent Competent Person) our inspector conducted the audit in compliance to applicable standards and the Client’s requirements.
This involved:
- Visit the rig site and conduct inspections, testing and examinations of Safety Critical Elements (SCE’s) to ensure their continued suitability.
- Carry out/witness examination and testing of SCE’s including all documentation/certification and CE marking pertaining to same.
- Auditing the maintenance regime currently in place, to ensure the equipment is maintained to the required regulatory standards, and is still viable for the requirements.
- Reviewing associated data in association with HSE regarding Mast Raising.
