Mechanical Acceptance Audit on the jack-up Rig for Selective Marine Services (UAE)

ALMAEER was requested to perform specific ADNOC acceptance audit for jack-up rig SMS ESSA (Le Tourneau S 116E) at COSCO shipyard Dalian China

The objective of the audit was to verify that the rig met ADNOC compliance requirements, facilitating a smooth acceptance process by ADNOC prior to operation deployment.

Scope of Work and Activities
The survey focused on mechanical systems and structural components, and included the following activities:

• Rig Surveys and Inspection in accordance with recognized international standards, including the ADNOC Jack Up Integrity Management Standard (JUIMS)
• Mechanical Condition Survey of major rig systems and equipment.
• Review outstanding Mechanical shipyard construction issues.
• Verification of equipment certification and accreditation, highlighting any areas of concern or potential compliance gap.
