Who we are

ALMAEER Inspection and Engineering Technical Services is a 100% UAE-owned company specializing in Rig Inspection and Audit Services for the global oil & gas industry.

Established in 2019 by a team of highly experienced drilling and asset integrity specialists, ALMAEER provides independent rig inspection and audit services across all types of drilling units (offshore and onshore), covering all integrity management standards. Our services encompass a comprehensive range of integrity management framework, supporting operators, drilling contractors, and asset owners worldwide in maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, regulatory compliance and operational performance.

As an API Q2 certified company, ALMAEER performs its work in accordance with applicable Industry Standards (e.g., API and IADC), Recommended Practices, OEM’s specifications and recommendations, as well as client-specific integrity management systems.

We have at our disposal multidisciplinary specialists with extensive international experience across offshore and onshore drilling operations. Strong rig field operational competency, including compliance knowledge, is fundamental to effective inspection of drilling units. This operation background ensures that potential technical and compliance issues are identified early, accurately assessed, and addressed in line with applicable standards and best practices. ALMAEER personnel have successfully supported projects in the UAE, the wider MENA region and international markets.

Having supported both national oil companies and private sector companies across oil & gas industry, we have developed a deep understanding of our clients’ demands. As an independent rig inspection company, we are highly flexible and customer-focused, working in close partnership with our clients to deliver specialized, tailored global drilling rig inspection and rig audit services that meet their specific service requirements.

To help us succeed in our mission we use international standards and where no specific standards are laid down the best international practice is used as a guideline.

Our team

It is our priority to support our clients’ needs, with the assurance of providing highly experienced, qualified and competent personnel, having supervisory-level experience of drilling assets and expertise on drilling operation, mechanical and electrical.  That is why Almaeer employs only the best qualified and experienced personnel, and all our inspectors have a minimum 10-years’ experience of auditing in the oil and gas industry.

Our local UAE team and global team of more than 50 competent inspectors have an in-depth knowledge across all types of onshore and offshore drilling rigs.  Their expertise covers every aspect of mechanical, electrical and drilling operation on Land rigs, Jack-Ups, Platforms, Semi-submersibles and Drillships.

With extensive worldwide drilling operational experience in their respective fields all across UAE, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, Nigeria, Egypt, Sudan, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Singapore, China, Indonesia, India, Turkey, UK, and other countries, we can guarantee our clients that our team can reliably and accurately perform various types of audits to ensure excellent rig operation and minimize rig downtime.

How we work

ALMAEER’s approach to perform a comprehensive inspection service of rig equipment and systems basically comprises of the following processes:

Determine client’s demands and requirements as per integrity management standards.

Identify the audit requirement as per rigs, equipment and systems

Check validity of rig certification

Detailed Inspection of the rig equipment and systems condition in compliance to the relevant regulatory standards

When required carry out Systems Integration Testing

Carry out control systems review and acceptance

Report documenting all the non-conformance findings
