Who we are

ALMAEER Inspection and Engineering Technical Services was established in 2019 by our team of highly skilled and experienced engineers with the North Sea and international background, to provide global rig inspection services.

ALMAEER is a UAE registered rig inspection company (100% UAE ownership).  We are proud to declare our ICV score of 48.33%.

We provide services on all types of drilling units (jack-up rigs, land rigs (trailer mounted and jack-knife), semi-submersible rigs) covering all integrity management standards’ auditing requirements. ALMAEER perform their work according to the applicable Industry Standards (e.g., API and IADC), Recommended Practices, OEM’s specifications and recommendations.

We have at our disposal personnel with extensive international drilling operational experience in their respective fields (Drilling Mechanical, Drilling Electrical including Power Management, Control Systems and Drilling Operational).  It is fundamental with regards to auditing and inspecting drilling units, that personnel with strong rig field operational competency, including compliance knowledge, are utilized; operational critical issues are recognized quickly to their respective compliance standards, and solutions to compliance requirements advised upon.

As an independent rig inspection company, we are very flexible and customer-oriented in partnership with our clients regarding their requirements and can provide a specialized global drilling rig inspection and rig audit services according to clients’ specific services required.

 ALMAEER inspection team have extensive local UAE, MENA region and worldwide experience. Also we have a vast global experience in work as with national oil and gas companies as with private companies that give us opportunity to deeply understand the demands of our clients.

Our team

It is our priority to support our clients’ needs, with the assurance of providing highly experienced, qualified and competent personnel, having supervisory-level experience of drilling assets and expertise on drilling operation, mechanical and electrical.  That is why Almaeer employs only the best qualified and experienced personnel, and all our inspectors have a minimum 10-years’ experience of auditing in the oil and gas industry.

Our local UAE team and global team of more than 50 competent inspectors have an in-depth knowledge across all types of onshore and offshore drilling rigs.  Their expertise covers every aspect of mechanical, electrical and drilling operation on Land rigs, Jack-Ups, Platforms, Semi-submersibles and Drillships.

With extensive worldwide drilling operational experience in their respective fields all across UAE, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, Nigeria, Egypt, Sudan, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Singapore, China, Indonesia, India, Turkey, UK, and other countries, we can guarantee our clients that our team can reliably and accurately perform various types of audits to ensure excellent rig operation and minimize rig downtime.

How we work

ALMAEER’s approach to perform a comprehensive inspection service of rig equipment and systems basically comprises of the following processes:

Determine client’s demands and requirements as per integrity management standards.

Identify the audit requirement as per rigs, equipment and systems

Check validity of rig certification

Detailed Inspection of the rig equipment and systems condition in compliance to the relevant regulatory standards

When required carry out Systems Integration Testing

Carry out control systems review and acceptance

Report documenting all the non-conformance findings
