Pre-hire and Commissioning Survey for TAQA(Almansoori)/Taq Taq Operating Company (Iraq)

Project description
TAQA(Almansoori) in cooperation with Taq Taq Operating Company engaged ALMAEER to conduct a Pre-hire Audit and Electrical Camp Inspection for the land drilling rig HONESTAR HS-036, located in Iraq (Kurdistan region).

Scope of Work and Activities
The inspection plan included the following key activities:

• Assessment of equipment availability and readiness in accordance with client’s Audit Procedure for Drilling, Workover and Well Service Units.
• Review of Safety and Environmental Critical Elements Management.
• Assess the technical condition of the rig and associated equipment for the upcoming project.
• Electrical Camp Inspection, including evaluation of the Power Generation, Power Transmission, Main Distribution and Sub Distribution Panel, Laundry Cabin, Residents Cabin and other units.
• To review the contractor`s management system with respect to rigs and associated equipment and assess their implementation.
• To assess the contractor`s personnel training and competence.
• Evaluation of the sub-contractor’s management.
