DROPS AUDITS

ALMAEER recognizes the industry-wide exposure to dropped and falling object incidents within derrick and mast structures. Such incidents present significant risks to personnel safety and may result in serious injury or material/equipment damage on the drill floor and in the surrounding operational areas.

Our DROPS Audit provides a comprehensive examination of the derrick/mast and its associated equipment to highlight any visible or potential dropped objects hazard or defects that may give concern regarding the safety of the operating personnel and/or integrity of the structure.

DROPS Inspection focuses on both primary and secondary retention systems, fastening integrity, vibration-related loosening, corrosion and general housekeeping at height.

A detailed report is issued identifying hazards, risk ranking and recommended corrective action to mitigate dropped object risk and enhance overall rig safety performance.
