Our Preventive Maintenance Audits provide independent verification of the rig’s Maintenance Management System and procedures to ensure full compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, company policies and OEM recommendations.
Preventive Maintenance Management System (PMMS) Audits identify gaps that may compromise equipment reliability, well control integrity and operational uptime, while providing recommendations to enhance maintenance effectiveness and reduce non-productive time (NPT).
Scope of Maintenance Audit and Review includes, but is not limited to the following:
Review of equipment registered in the Maintenance System that it reflects the asset as installed and it’s intended drilling operations.
Assessment of compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable standards.
Compliance and implementation of applicable OEM PIBs and Alerts (verify complete record keeping of those applicable OEM PIBs and Alerts, as well as proper distribution to the rig).
Verification of maintenance plans, task assignment, frequencies, and execution history within the PMMS.
Review of the rig’s maintenance system report, including backlog status, overdue critical maintenance, and deferred maintenance risk.
Availability and condition of critical spare parts for execution of maintenance procedures.
