Inspection and Refurbishment of a Jacking System in Nigeria

ALMAEER Inspection (A.I.E.T.S.) has successfully completed a detailed Jacking System Inspection and Refurbishment for a warm-stacked Jack-Up Barge located in Nigeria.

The inspection incorporated specific client requirements and additional scope, including supervision of the installation of five (5) gearbox shafts and seven (7) pinion bearings.

ALMAEER’s jack-up specialists assessed the condition, integrity, functionality, and operational readiness of the jacking system.  The objective was to identify any degradation, wear, damage, or deficiencies that may affect safe and reliable operation.
 
The inspection further verified compliance of the jacking system with:
• OEM recommendations.
• Applicable Class Rules.
• International standards (i.e. API).
• Client operational and safety requirements.
