Pre-hire Audit for Land rig in Eastern Europe (Poland)

U.DRILL LLC has requested ALMAEER to carry out a rig pre-hire audit on one of their client’s land rig, located in Eastern Europe.

The objective of the audit was to assess the technical condition, operational readiness and compliance status of the rig, including verification of critical equipment and systems against applicable local and international standards, as well as client requirements. 

Scope of Work and Activities
Inspection was conducted in accordance client’s audit requirements and included the following key activities:

• Assess equipment availability and readiness as per client Audit Procedure for Drilling, Workover and Well Service Units.
• Safety and Environmental Critical Elements Management.
• Assess the technical condition of the rig and associated equipment for the upcoming project.
• To review the contractor`s management system with respect to rigs and associated equipment and assess their implementation.
• To assess the contractor`s personnel training and competence.
• To assess sub-contractor’s management capabilities of the project.

Project Outcome
The audit report, including all findings and recommendations, enabled the Operator to identify potential technical gaps, verify compliance with applicable standards and ensure that the rig was suitable for the planned drilling operations.
